3rd Issue: The Ḥanafī Madhhab

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

At the Qalam Seminary, one of our core visions is to instill in students a passion for research and publishing. With great joy and gratitude, we present the third issue of By the Pen, focusing on the Ḥanafī madhhab. This year’s edition comprises nine contributions, including biographies, book reviews, interviews, and more. Several of this issue’s contributions discuss intellectual history, exploring the context behind the fiqh tradition we study at the Seminary.

By the Pen aims to achieve two primary goals. First, it serves as a platform for students to refine their research and writing skills, providing an accessible avenue for their scholarly exploration. Second, it seeks to cultivate a culture of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity through writing.

As we tread this path, we seek Allah’s guidance in disseminating beneficial knowledge and nurturing faith through intellectual discourse.
