Student Research Symposium 2026

With the permission of Allah, Qalam Research will be hosting the inaugural Student Research Symposium this May, 2026.

Students in Years 2-5 and the Takhaṣṣuṣ program were invited to apply to present their personal research projects at the symposium. Students across the Seminary are working on various research projects: By the Pen articles, Year 4 papers, and personal passion projects. The symposium is an opportunity to feature the creativity and dedication of these students, as well as generate discussion with their peers. Five students have been selected to present on various topics, including fiqh, intellectual history, tafsīr, and kalām.

The symposium will take place on May 16th, 2026 inshāʾAllāh. Limited spots will be made available for community members to attend.
